Ballinasloe Cancer Support Centre will be fundraising in the parishes and churches of Ballinasloe and the greater Ballinasloe area this weekend.

We would greatly appreciate the support of the community and all that can donate.

Congrats to our Easter Raffle Winner

Coffee Morning Fundraiser Success

Our very own Elizabeth Fitzgerald held a coffee morning fundraiser before Christmas.

It was a huge success raising €3025.

Coral Leisure Ballinasloe Raise Over €2000

Coral Leisure Ballinasloe held a Swimathon last Friday 23rd November in aid of Ballinasloe Cancer Support Centre.

It was a huge success raising over €2000 in donations.

National Conference for Cancer Survivorship 2018

The National Conference for Cancer Survivorship 2018 – Living Well with Cancer is our annual national conference for cancer survivors, those who care for them, health care professionals, staff or volunteers from community based cancer support services.

This conference is an essential part of the Irish Cancer Society's work and aims to provide information and support to enable people to live well after a cancer diagnosis.

You will hear from a range of speakers who will share their experiences, stories and expert knowledge. There will be two practical workshops sessions per day. Choose from topics such as exercise, diet, mindfulness, employment and much, much more. We will also have an exhibition area available throughout the conference showcasing a diverse selection of educational and practical exhibitors as well as representatives from local cancer support services.

Annual Christmas Mass

Our Annual Christmas Mass is happening this Thursday 29th Nov at 8pm.

We are gathering in The Ballinasloe Cancer Support Centre for our annual Christmas mass to give thanks and praise. There will be light refreshments served afterwards. All are welcome to attend. Pop Up Shop

We are holding another Pop Up Shop starting from October 31st until November 3rd and open from 10am to 4.30pm. We are still accepting donations of goods for the shop and thank you all for your support! 100% of the money raised from the Pop Up Shop goes towards maintaining the centre which allows us to continue to offer practical and emotional support for people affected by cancer.
